The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. A cute reimagination of Pride and Prejudice (or shall we say a reimagination of Joe Wright's Pride and Prejudice). Love the dynamic between Howie and Noah, and the portrait of Howie's insecurity, it is way more interesting and touching than the romantic storyline.

以前我认为只有同志单纯的追求爱情，不会像直人婚姻那样追求附加值，但其实并不是这样，但凡想要获取长久稳定的亲密关系，这些附加值是前提，如果只是追求及时行乐，建议忽略这部电影。借用《傲慢与偏见》的故事框架，还是有些想法的，蜻蜓点水般的触及到那条存在于同志内部的鄙视链，但也有点避重就轻，自嗨式的沉浸在合家欢的剧情里…
3星半。在时长8分半左右的一场对话戏是兴趣激发点：在冰原上，每一条狗能负重拉100斤，100斤吃完之后，其中一条狗就成了累赘，就要枪毙最差的狗，喂给其它狗吃，所以不要和它们交朋友。最后一条狗也在时长50分钟处没了，没有表现处死狗的戏少了揪心的表现，为啥不留一只狗到最后不得不杀？要不就把杀死最后一只狗的戏做足了也好，可惜了，狗没了导致影片后面乏力不少，元素都有且足就是没用好。全片1.5倍速看完。 2022·3·5 6.6/193 短评54条，无%。【IMDb6.5/3200 】

同志版《傲慢与偏见》，都是些老生常谈的论调，没什么深度的情感，一直在耍嘴皮子，有几个点稍微有些小浪漫。演员选的很有意思，LGBTQ种族大团结。ps：Zane也太帅了～

没有报很大希望和老公一起看的，结果还真的挺无聊的。太忙太乱了，大半部电影我都在问谁是Charlie？谁是Max（结果人家叫Rex）。这种当代爱情喜剧我一般当“云旅游”片子看，看看风景和各种室内空间也挺有趣的，这部也没看到啥。奔着Margaret Cho去看的，结果戏份很少。看完才发现John Roberts有客串，还专门倒带回去看哈哈。
