The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 充满了暗黑色彩的奇幻改编，伸头一刀缩头也一刀，无非是体验——也许需要潸然醒悟，也许需要充满欲望，前进就好
仁者见仁，智者见智。高文最后是在得知“未来的情况下”看到了:逃避回去后的最后结局是凄惨而懦弱的死去，才选择的赴死，总之“你不是一个骑士”，虽然“这是一场游戏”。但镜头的质感和色彩的运用都超级喜欢。
如果真的能以单单摄影而不是数字特效做到这些画面的确是蔚为可观的。而另一方面电影的叙事层次的确单一，聚焦在高文一个人身上的视角固然能使人物形象更加清晰但也过于单薄。高文骑士成长道路倒是合理，不是一定要通过考验而是要认识到错误这点的确是反映了基督教条的普适性。这样来看高文迈出城的第一步就算成功，成功是一个结果，而荣耀确是一个过程。

虽然剧情看得不太懂，但那种诡秘阴冷童话般的氛围我还挺喜欢的
道理都懂，但是导演请去隔壁《故事的故事》片场学习一下再来，极品硬件配置配上垃圾讲故事能力串烧，可惜了

骑士和国王的冲突,在路上遇见的各个人都在最后有了对应.摄影可能是今年最强了
没有很传统的讲骑士精神，甚至带了点堂吉诃德的影子，看了眼原小说的大概内容，电影里面的高文爵士其实挺贴切，反理想化。A24每次都有惊喜，片子的摄影和美术做的很棒，传说的意境感是达到的。其实抛开文化差异，它也是个不错的故事。
A24最近确实有好好的做奇幻类故事，希望当家的恐怖类不要丢了

没有明白很多表意的符号与道具，大体意思就是试炼闯关，成为骑士
