The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 有可能不太能欣赏这种一直高频歌唱的歌舞剧，911背景下依然没有感到感动，个人角度。

泪流满面，太久没看音乐剧了，心跳加速，想念可以去剧院看引进剧的日子

疫情看真的太应景了。黑暗中才更能看到善意的光。太温暖了。
又看了一遍，我的人道主义和理想主义之光，不管再看多少遍都会热泪盈眶😢
整部剧的基调是自由主义式的，或许这才是正确对抗恐怖主义的途径。用融合代替隔离，用积极代替阴郁，用好好生活代替暴力反应。这部剧是在支离破碎中开出的鲜花，远比美军践踏阿富汗这20年取得的成绩都大。
那演技让我觉得不止12个人
太美好的歌舞剧了 只字不提911 奇妙的视角刻画了每一个人
音乐剧将可以情绪放大，人性之光在台上变得更加闪耀，于是我就每场都哭🥹
叙事不错 把一个小舞台算用到极致了 几把凳子 一个转盘 完成一切场景。歌不错 是好听的流行歌 mamamia 那种。有意思的地方：同一组演员演两批不同人物 衣服换的超快
不论你信奉的是哪个神，不论你的人种国籍与性向，在这个不锁门的小岛上，我们都脱下外表的装饰，回归为相互照拂的人类，回归成关心其他生物的一个普通物种。
Make me a channel of your peace
看之前甚至不知道这是一部关于911的歌舞剧，前面还在想怎么会有这么奇怪的故事设定（籍籍无名的小镇突然迎来大量飞机和数千名旅客），反应过来后十分佩服这个“在别处”的视角。
在飞机上看完，fly high，get high，这是我2019年疫情前买的最后一张戏票（当然没看成）。狭小的舞台，出色的访谈纪实文本，20年后我们还会感受和相信人的温暖和恐惧嘛。女机长之歌真的动人…
