The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 片尾令人潸然泪下的歌曲是Asimbonanga，由祖鲁语演唱的合唱和用英语演唱的诗句组成，在反对种族隔离运动中广受欢迎。（理想主义者永远一腔热忱）
很明确的提出了现实中同性恋的问题，但剧情有些许离谱，尤其在处理同学之间关系，很难接受被骗当同妻之后又接受他，四星给神尾枫珠
黑人有天生的进化缺陷。
这种电影从电影工业角度没什么可说的，无非就是在有限的场景里依靠演员和矛盾冲突把故事与观众紧密的带入到一起，引起共情，达到最佳的影像效果
