The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 台词就值得及格分了，还是王朔剧本里的角色会说人话，本杰明巴顿奇事和阿甘正传本土化remix版，其实还算值得一看。

其实这部电影选择聚焦的社会问题还是可圈可点的，一方面是提不出低保要求的贫困者，一方面是对低保的滥用者，一方面是夹在中间只能明哲保身的执行者，这样的冲突造成了政治上的圆满而实际中的残缺。但是夹杂一个刑事案件反而让这部电影留于俗套，不如就像《老后破产》或《看护杀人》那样呈现现实，可能更体现深度。

影片的悬疑几乎不用猜了，其实一开始职业就暗示了。由于公务员的尸位素餐，导致了更多得不到保护的人的死亡，难道仅是一句按章办事就可以推卸责任的。公务员所谓的负责是对上头还是对人民的？如果人民得不到被保护的安全感，仇恨的杀戮四起，那国家存在的意义何在。
