The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 真正需要我们重视的东西，在come from away里面就展现出来了，灾难后，也许世界没有变得更好，歧视和战争还在，但我们更应该向这些islanders学习，不去想权谋和观点的碰撞，只有you’ve done the same. 经历过疫情发生的小城，当地人以自己的方式，不忍心医护人员吃泡面，从自家备好鸡鸭给他们送去。are we going to do the same?
背景讲的是911事件，航班滞留纽芬兰小镇上的故事。同班演员，既是小镇居民又是航班乘客。不同的角色就有不同的感觉，一秒切换毫无违和，演员太棒了。另外故事的表达也是很立体的，贴近现实。虽然因事件会带来偶然的美好，但事件产生的影响不会轻易消灭。

因为疫情，取消、退票，太过遗憾，还好有官摄，看得又哭又笑的。原来20年了，还没有来得及去纽约看过纪念馆，那一天在班级里看着电视，直到长大后才真的明白那是怎样可怕的灾难。感谢陌生人的善意。
