The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 开头野外捡钱的一段神似《老无所依》。扮猪吃老虎的爽片，大白天的正面硬怼一挑12，哪怕兰博都得事先埋炸弹靠机关。话又说回来，老亨利这江湖老手了，深知不义之财来得索命，他不应该捡钱才对。一看就知道肯定不是网飞拍的，老亨利怎么可能死呢，如果效果好观众买单，肯定要整个续集的彩蛋才对。
前面漫长的铺垫，甚至都感觉不到紧张，最后二十分钟突然达到高峰，手起人倒干净利落，结局令人唏嘘，还是没明讲老亨利的过往，更令人好奇背后的故事。
依旧保持西部片的精神内核，只是结局隐喻着西部片没落的现实，而这种现实大概起于三十年之前。
前面节奏有点慢
老亨利死了。小亨利杀死了最后的匪徒，离家进城。步老亨利后尘，前途生死未卜，将来也许又是一个老亨利？

成本应该不高吧，在一户破落村舍完成叙事，简练而深远
最后的真实枪战很棒！很想知道老亨利是怎么传奇过？坏人还是好人？

向旧时代的西部传奇献上一曲挽歌，用最正统的西部片形式，没有任何炫技、戏谑，在朴实的摄影与平缓的叙事中，蕴含巨大的情感张力，故事短小，人物很少，悬念贯穿始终，最后的反转更像是宿命~~~
