The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. It is old-fashioned but surprisingly timely, and its clean, spare style feels classical because it’s fluent and clear-minded. Eastwood seems to be one of the few remaining filmmakers committed to conscientious storytelling.

前两天我看了一条关于国产电影的评论。意思差不多是喜剧恐怖片另外特别说了国产片都要低人一等。正好我昨天看了《扬名立万》和《误杀1》。两部都是国产片，有一部是翻拍。两部都7分以上（20222.2.8豆瓣评分），而《哭泣的男人》6分（时间同上）。咱们不要拘泥于小数点后。我真心请问，国产片在演技，设计，剧本，运镜，对白，连贯性，观赏性甚至调色真的低人一等吗？我觉得没错，国产电影就是低人一等，凭什么上述两部电影7分，《哭泣的男人》6分？而我因为豆瓣5星规则我打4星，平均下来我打8分。认识到差距才能进步，我不知道国产电影有多用力，也不知道好莱坞电影多不用力。事实是：国产电影确实低人一等。求骂求草，不要吝你卑鄙的语言，来吧。
尽管看到他的样子依然感到亲切。但是老爷子已经老到不适合再做演员了，整部电影像是一碗清淡的粥。
感觉老头子有点为了在有生之年多拍点片而不得不有片就拍。

老头没了年轻的锐气，好在脾气仍在。macho表演满分。
