The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 「荒野绝境」片，前半部却像冒险片，后半部则只能用「心灵幻觉」来制造某种「人工」的矛盾冲突却没有真正的紧张感，似乎到底还是剧本无力的原因。
电影不是很长但后三分之一确实让人感觉拖沓。取景和服装都不错，剧情感觉交代的不清不楚：从出发的原因和目的地、为何男二突然就感兴趣想加入、船员弃船前迅速搭建的看起来一切完备小木屋、到男主的伤心过往（我还以为他女友已经死了变成了鬼总是haunt男主导致产生幻觉，结果结尾女友又蹦出来了）。导演功力不够，随便交代一下就期望观众能自行理解、买单。还是《北海鲸梦》好看的多

很好看啊。评分里戾气太重了，可能还是大部分人没有出柜加上国内对待同的环境，大家都不太相信这种爱情吧，但是星期天晚上看一部这样的片子with happy ending it's really beautiful
事实证明，你简奶奶还是你简奶奶，《傲慢与偏见》这个故事讲了这么多遍，依然好看。只是这部电影除了这个框架就啥也不剩了。
