The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 精致、深刻，巴尔扎克对媒体和人性的洞察与揭示至今仍未过时。
没有看过原著，有点羞愧。但这部电影并没有辜负巴尔扎克，成功勾起了我对于纯文学的再度热爱。声色犬马的巴黎幻影下，人物灵魂被层层剥离，最后见好就收，留给观众足够的空间去品尝这苦涩的人生余味。

一部看了电影之后立马去翻了法语原版的片子。。

改编比较大，对19世纪20年代巴黎各阶层社会氛围的还原是亮点，还算值得一看吧。

巴尔扎克原作的加成过大….有些场面调度倒也会闪闪发光了。男主长了一张好穷苦的脸，多兰是真的好看，两位女士看起来真的很大贵族！
历史不过在周而复始
一星给旁白，帮助了解剧情。男主性格不好情商不行，结局在意料之中。
看吧，有金钱和文字的地方，就有虚荣、谎言、嫉妒、争斗…… 两百年前与两百年后并无差别。 Lucien 身上有巴尔扎克早年巴黎经历的影子，而Nathan则是他幻想中的自己。仔细想想演员选得挺合适的，Benjamin Voisin虽然不是正统帅哥，但脸上有那种天真与狂热交织的感觉。
一切消费主义在未来看来都是幼稚的。到底是一个土豆值钱还是把这个土豆送到你手上的人力值钱？
