The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 一点都不有趣，可以说是极度悲观，主人公事业爱情家庭可以说一事无成，最后连自己的生命都没能经营下去。似乎他一直都想要拯救别人，但别人都不需要他。

尽管视听极其有辨识度与流畅度，但是太做作矫情。里面的每个人物都像得了文艺装逼病，且都病得深沉，都不讲人话。建议少做梦少说胡话多干点实事。

法比安和Julie简直是性格、境遇完全相反的两个人物，虽然更喜欢Julie一点，但是Fabian显然比糟糕的人拍的好。
镜头语言炫技有点多，当下看这部片还是有点应景的。
另一个角度的花束般的恋爱，但又不只是恋爱，友情线、亲情线和理想线都非常丰满，让人忘记了难熬的片长。
