The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 2021领悟到的东西就是，人们并没有从2020学到什么。这一部果然还是不喷老拜，民主党剧无疑了。

感覺太趕做出來了，時長也不到一個小時，很多點可以吐槽滴更深刻更諷刺
确实是《不要抬头》的互文，但看完这两部就更觉得现实更为闹剧和极端，而这些黑色幽默和讽刺反而显得有些无力和嘴碎。2020和2021都好像停滞了一样，但实际却又比往年更加速前进着割裂了彼此，我们尚未熟悉的世界已经加速离我们而去。好在片长合适，不强行加戏。
伪纪录片形式，还是挺有意思的。和《不要抬头》一样，都是讽刺，但是比《不要抬头》梗更加密集一些。
