The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 怎么说呢，看起来是一个简单的关于爱的故事。善意比敌意好，沟通比恐惧好。因为是幻想故事，陌生的种族，动画的形式，还有画风，都带来了足够的新鲜感，让人忽视一些其他东西。然后就显得顺理成章，甚至质量不错了。
其实分数应该更高一点，看评论有不少人没看过TV版就直接看这部电影了。豆瓣的电影粉和剧集粉往往是不交集的，很多人只看电影但不看剧集，但本片并不是一部剧情独立的电影，而是第2季的后续，单独抽出来看肯定是观感不太好的。
喜欢大团圆，不管是希尔达还是巴巴都可以做自己，不用去考虑人或巨魔的身份
剧情还是非常不错的，内容丰富好看，值得一刷。
Hilda长高了，每一个母亲都很伟大，小朋友有时候比成年人拥有更多的勇气。
没想到是讲母爱的，女孩子长得是不是有些像《凯尔经的秘密》里面那个精灵？
很治愈的一部电影，当音乐响起，所有山怪身上出现花花草草的时候，不自觉留下眼泪，这种感觉真好。
比起第一二季看得没有那么舒服 题材的母爱也是我的痛点……但是喜欢

荒野永远是Hilda的本性，甚至有些希望她可以真的永远成为Troll，至少这样就可以自由自在的生活了。
剧情还是非常不错的，内容丰富好看，值得一刷。
感觉是一步心理剧，表达了对待事物的看法不是唯一的，看待他人也是如此。同时表达出了母爱的伟大，我们的外面建构着自己的一切的时候，母爱一直在身边。不想对我们建构的进行破坏。对于巨魔我觉得是想表达人过去，没有经过社会化的人。
不知道后面还有续集没。
巨魔妈妈也有温柔的一面
主旨为母爱，挺适合全家人聚在一起看看的，尽管还没看希尔达这部剧，但是依然不影响其温馨爆表。
结局太温柔了，好强大又温暖的母性力量。就是大结局有些仓促的感觉没有日常节奏舒服
有被温暖到，“从来没有任何东西能够阻止她坐起来，但她没有这么做”
我们通常对自己不了解的事物存有刻板印象，误解了那些心怀善意的陌生人。这部动画的另一主旨是爱啊，爱让彼此靠近，希尔达和巨人母亲，巴巴和家人，学生们和巨魔，巨魔们对他们的巨魔母亲，巨魔母亲对于人类，爱真的能化解纷争
