The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 小舞台，省演员，12人个个分饰多角，营造出人声鼎沸之感。技术上节奏明快，过场如飞，毫不拖泥带水，却一点也不突兀，有非常高水准。故事上就是一报告文学，却让人看得津津有味，灾难之际陌生人似乎更易释放善意，写得足够细腻。当然对于遭受更多苦难与灾难的人群来说显得似乎有些矫情。
舞台利用最大化，每一位演员都身兼多名角色，性格反差明显，特别优秀。

上线apple tv的流媒体音乐剧，看的官摄版，20年过去了，911事件还能赚足人们的眼泪，疫情期间看格外感动。幸福的小镇比大都市还开放包容，十几个演员用口音表演群像，不要忘记历史，不要忘记人类的灾难与高光时刻。
足够美式的审美和价值观，不足之处是有些地方实在煽情过度，但不得不承认起码在当下我很喜欢——今日朝鲜新增1.8万发热病例，特此标记——因为无数次深入绝境，才积蓄了更多的爱意和希望
除此之外，剧本本身对911事件给美国社会心理带来的各方面影响的刻画也是相对比较到位的。

我们可以看到人类最大的善意闪光的同时也能不逃避自私与阴暗面，但是总是向善的。不回避创伤与痛苦的作品才是真正伟大的！这是一部没有任何理解壁垒的片子!太棒了
