The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 2021上映，刚好在疫情期间，又是“911”20周年，演出这样一幕剧再合适不过。来自不同地方讲着不同语言的人，因为怀有同样的普遍的人类的情感而得以相聚相惜。
真是以小见大的好作品！用纽芬兰小岛上的温情和爱来对抗人类历史上最具毁灭性的恶性事件，非常令人感动！对迫降事件后，社区各个层面的反应刻画得也非常还原。考拉唱得真好！
欢快又充满力量的歌舞片，对人性有力的赞颂。虽然来自远方，但彼此没有距离。最后演奏家集体演奏的《Screech Out》真的太嗨了。

还只看过饭拍版。制作很精良，也能煽动我流泪，但其实我不能完全共情，事件离我太遥远了。
编排太牛，节奏太紧密，简直有点目不暇接了。
剧情很棒歌也好听，没有刻意煽情真的太好了，真实事件下的人性光辉
我最喜欢的音乐剧，没有之一。这是现代歌舞剧和现代社会的完美代表和缩影，也是人类命运共同体的赞歌。
看了百老汇官摄的疫情后新版。I am an islander!!!
专门挑了这么一个时间重温，知道泪点低，但没想到从第一首歌就开始大哭，一直哭到最后。除了剧本身，还想起很多事，想起在伦敦的现场，想起2020年没能成行的中巡。现在笔袋上还挂着西区散场后从工作人员那得到的“dats a moose”的徽章，什么时候能再回去看现场。

好看！音乐好听就不说了，一人分饰多角无缝转换身份就绝了！而且丝毫不会混乱。人性是——解除恐惧之后，本质全然美好。
