The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 已经和当年的EVA没有任何关系了，连狗尾续貂都谈不上，做作的毫无动机的自我伤感实在令人作呕。
这是一部让庵野导演回归起点的作品。
不管是什么，终究要过去，即使是20多年的EVA。始终在期盼他们再次到来，却又不舍这样永远离去。结局的剧情如何，CP怎么组，可能都不再重要，一切都是永远的回忆，就如同影片中的好多名场面。PS：如果片尾的《One Last Kiss》是再次我们的勾起回忆与不舍，那接下去的《Beautiful World》就是告诉你，EVA是永远的，注定要跨过几个时代的神！

选择真希波，是因为长大后真嗣（我们）的审美变成了大胸眼镜娘吧
好看是好看，看懂是真没看懂，需要补课大量背景知识，不过也算是了却一桩心愿。
通过各种巨象化和分形制造神迹，最后一切归零，回到起点，从全宇宙落点到个人的内心。淀真嗣可以说是最反类型的主角，但也可以说是最类型的主角。期待大银幕的视觉饕餮。
对于老EVA粉丝来说，这是真正的人类补完计划，补完了我的一个梦。看完的感受就是满足，十分满足，没有任何想吐槽的地方。这就是成人化的剧情对成人后的观众的温柔。面对纷乱的世界，很难不开始理解碇源堂的选择——只要能与相爱的人再会，毁灭世界、精神大同有何不可？而结局包容和谅解了一切：只要相爱，就能与相爱的人再会。
不知道还有多少人能抛开人设争，cp争，剧情争等等……

这种常态跳票导致时间跨度过大的作品会因为技术和审美的更新而串味(指前作)，但仔细看确实还能分辨出原味。鹭巢老师这部的音乐带有一点点商业感，也是这种感觉。

啊，下载后一直没急着看。虽然日本上映那段时间看过很多网评了，但还是会：嗯？啊？咿…（痞子真的做出了猜不到的结局，不过也挺好的…
一场温馨的告别，是成长，是和解，感恩多年的陪伴，前行，生活更美好。
