Arkham, 1975: Jonathan Davis' father has disappeared. His tracks lead to Germany, to the Swabian-Franconian Forest where he was stationed after the Second World War. brutashell review - 'Filmed in black and white and primarily spoken in German, it is obvious that Die Farbe did not have a huge budget to work with. Effects are minimal and the cast is utterly unknown. I should point out that these are all good things, and work very much in the film's favour. There is no CGI to rely on, no name actors to carry it. Rather, the filmmakers do the unthinkable: they create a genuine atmosphere of unimaginable dread and unspeakable horror, using shadow, suggestion and rare splashes of that Nameless colour in a few select frames. In short, they did a damn good job. Die Farbe is subtle in its mounting horror, nurturing a dark dread deep in your bowels with every shot. All of the best and most stomach-turningly distressing films I’ve ever seen have come out of Germany: M, The Cabinet Of Dr. Caligari, The White Ribbon, and now this one. Leave it to the Germans. We know how to gross you out on the deepest psychological levels.
Lovecraft worshippers and devotees of German Expressionism alike, take heed: seek out and view this film at your earliest possible convenience. It’s a dark, noisome little gem that will squirm into your subconscious and lay its eggs in your sanity. Hey, not everyone gets the honour of being a host organism for the Elder Gods, you know.'
OMG, though the plot is cliche and cold, but i have to say i am really enjoy the movie, enjoy BGM, the stupid sweet love story and adorable Lucy, maybe because i used to date with a girl just same as Lucy, especially the height and face~
女主扯下男主的浴巾之后“哇哦”，真是幸福呢。
全程鬼喊鬼叫就是驱魔。驱魔过程里上了修女的神父，这个设定其实还蛮大胆的碰触了宗教禁忌，然而所谓信仰的展现和救赎……真的不是过家家的游戏？
男主和魔鬼互相驱魔那段，很像泼妇骂街，但是设定有新意，而且反传统，与一般的驱魔影片不同，最后的台词有些意思：恶人无法接管上帝的国度，但是可以接管人间。
见过牧师给凡人驱魔，恶魔给牧师驱上帝还是第一次见。方式就是比谁的喉咙响
影片展现的驱魔手段单调，到最后就是双方对着喊，似乎完全比拼意志，没任何技术，国人较难理解，与想象中封神榜那样的各种法术大相径庭
上帝与恶魔之战没有对错只有胜负，不管神父修女还是其他人，都不过是棋子而已。
与写得有些糟糕的书改编还是有好一点，主角也是chemistry越来越强，cheesy but acceptable，lucy演得还不错，演员微表情很赞，这么cheesy的题材能演好也是不容易。摄影&色彩呈现加分。
哈哈哈哈哈哈以为是吐槽，确实是恶魔给神父驱魔为了驱除上帝
人无完人，神父也是人，在与恶魔斗争中，为了救孩子还是选择与恶魔做交易，恶魔永远去不了天堂，但可以出现在人间，期待第二部貌似应该叫天堂的反击

整装高升梵蒂冈，圣所从来笼阴霾。
没有什么新意，带有一点点软色情，低于驱魔片平均水准，不要浪费时间...
很多转场显得莫名又生硬，特效还不如十年前的，恐怖气氛始终支棱不起来，好几处都被逗乐了
我以为神父跟魔鬼做交易会触发献身，没想到被夺舍。
老牧师也是神预言，梵蒂冈高层有内鬼，只有相信自己是上帝，是圣人，才能驱魔。
上帝与魔鬼的较量却行使在人的身上，信仰脆弱又无形，无论你做个好信徒还是出卖了灵魂，你的肉身始终停留在残酷的现实和诱惑的世界。
最后的结尾挺意外
有非常多不符合逻辑的地方，但是也并不会让人生气，因为挺有喜剧效果的哈哈哈哈哈。尤其斗法那里真想给他们各倒杯茶润润喉，挺费嗓子的
有巧思，立意新颖，也够惊悚，但剧情有跳脱感，细节处还能更好。
