The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 充满了哲思的童言童语，学会倾听去化解家庭关系的摩擦与代际，黑白影调特别纯粹，镜头下的美帝竟有欧陆的美，小演员很出彩，文艺独立电影的调调。
孩子的回答就是这样，也许他们现在在一个动荡不安的时代，但是他们始终看到的是希望，是美好，是光亮！这样，受伤的心灵总能得到治愈！
对导演的上一部初学者留下了十分美好的印象，这种感觉没有完全延续进新作。

近几年来最好看的一部。动作戏虽然占了大部，但也不会让人厌烦。佐藤警官和高木警官的恋爱进展更是值得关注。
看着很舒服的一部电影，完全没有感觉到无聊。
