The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 非常硬派的西部片，一个男人，守护他的孩子、领地和些许正义，结局太伤了
西部片就是美国人的武侠片。一个金盆洗手的江湖高手，却不料再次卷入江湖仇杀当中。这样的剧情是不是就熟悉多了。从西部片横向比较其实比较普通，胜在干净利落味道纯正。

十分硬核和老派的西部电影，全程一直担心儿子会死，没想到最后是比利小子死了。。。

我都看了个啥？讲故事的话，我没听太懂，这个比利到底有多牛逼？动作、枪战的话，《英雄本色》小马哥甩你们好几条街，而且就你们这拍法，只能证明当时人们可能都脑残+体残。悬疑？有你们这磨叽的劲儿，医生和警察不早就请到了？家里养伤那位，一醒来就扑到你家公子，怎么会是好鸟儿？最后，我竟然无法找到合适的标签来给这个电影进行定位。....
从故事到画面，从对白到配乐，无比复古，无比传统，在这个科恩兄弟和昆汀用各种现代手法让西部片不那么西部的时代，在被政治正确绑架的好莱坞剧本陷入低能死循环的时代，《老亨利》让人重新回到约翰韦恩和伊斯特伍德纵横好莱坞时那个传奇的西部岁月
